On Monday I went to the Zoo as a chaperone for my daughter's kindergarten class' field trip. I was able to keep up with my daughter + the 1 other kid in my group (10 parents + 18 groups = interesting group combination but yay for small groups at least, lol) without any problem at the zoo and could tell that I was breathing harder but wasn't sweating for overexerting myself. :) The downside is that by Wednesday I was running a slight fever, was having trouble swallowing, and just generally feeling like crap. On Thursday night I slept maybe 2 hours combined all night because of still having difficulty swallowing and my throat feeling puffy. On Friday I was able to get a doctor's appointment and tested positive for strep and found out that I definitely had inflamed tonsils (ick) which explained why it felt like I had stalagmites in the back of my mouth >.< She prescribed me some antibiotics for the strep and gave me a steroid shot for my tonsils. On the downside it means I'm stuck in the house all weekend, but on the upside thanks to the shot I was able to breathe and swallow better by last night so yay for being able to get some actual sleep last night for the most part :) On the recommendation of somebody on Facebook I'm doing some research into Leslie Sansone DVDs so any input would be appreciated for a beginner! :D
