Hrm…
Well, I never did hear from Andi (the new workout partner I previously mentioned) on Friday, so I guess she got offended because I left after an hour of working out — I wasn’t trying to offend her, I just wanted to spend time with my hubby on his night off from work (he works nights as a DM for a local paper, so he works 5-6 nights a week from midnight to about noon).
So…fast forward to yesterday…
My hubby joined Crunch so that we could work out together - hooray! Part of what’s been keeping me from going to the gym to work out has been that we only have a few hours each day to spend with one another (between when he wakes up, usually around 6 pm-ish, and when he goes to work, at around midnight), and with him joining the gym I can spend time with him *while* working out.
Wish us luck! ;-)

Had a good workout at Crunch tonight…
I think I found a workout partner that I can work out with! She and her hubby recently joined Crunch, and she was perusing their website a few days ago when she happened upon my ad from a month ago trying to find a workout partner. We got to talking in e-mail, and our diet histories are very similar (i.e. both starved ourselves to a smaller size), as well as we’re both former band geeks.
We met up tonight to work out and it went extremely well I think. We went on the treadmill for 15 minutes and then the exercise bike for 15 minutes as well. I would have liked to have stayed longer, but John has tonight off from work and I wanted to spend time with him since he had to work last night (yesterday was our 2-month wedding anniversary).
She’s planning to go either at 6 or 7 tomorrow night — I asked her to call my cellphone before she heads over, but if she doesn’t, I’ll head over at about 6:45…
